DROPS

I wanted to share an animated project based in the Netherlands that I am very proud to be a part of. DROPS is an animated story about the life and death of two rain drops, using a beautiful water color technique animation.

SYNOPSIS:

In the story we discover a raindrop in the cycle of water for the first time. He is an awkward but charming little guy called Philly. We watch Philly as he meets a playful and seemingly very insightful female drop, Lily. Together they run after the clouds and hurry to keep up with the rain. We see their entire lifetime unfold as they indulge in the rain and they are confronted with the inevitable: the rain comes to an end. The greatness of their existence is revealed when the sun comes out and we find there is nothing to be afraid of.
