Eugene, Oregon

Sadly, this moment will mark the very last film festival that HIBAKUSHA will ever grace. It's been a great run and we will continue to do our university visits, but 2012-2014 has been a great run for the festivals and we've had so many great film festival moments. Raymond and I headed up to Eugene, Oregon (Home of the Ducks) en route to the DisOrient Film Festival.

Thought it would be cool to share some of the pictures that we took along the way.

Eugene is known for their hiking and biking trails. We decided to do a 15-mile team biking exercise, and by team... I mean Ray and I. The Willamette River is truly awesome around this time.

Unbelievable event. The people who put together this beautiful festival truly made it an event to remember. It's sad that I wasn't able to stay for the entire festival, but I enjoyed every minute of it while I was there. Thank you to DisOrient Film Festival for such a wonderful experience and to the PACAlliance for believing in Kaz's story so much that you would honor and bestow her with such an amazing award.
